Book Review: Les nuits félines
A friend told me that Les nuits félines by Philippe Grigolato was “naïve, yet cute” if you wanted to have some “light reading.” As a friend recommended the book, I forced myself to finish it. Is it “naïve”? Yes. But I found the book neither cute nor whimsical. The dialogue was often nonsensical and, at times, bordered on vulgar, and so was the story. The “moral of the story” towards the end was foreseeable and cliché, but the way the book ended made no sense.
