I finally have gotten around to reading 1984 by George Orwell. I remember enjoying Animal Farm in high school, and 1984 was already on my to-do list. I stumbled upon the book while in Dublin. I found the book to be very topical given the current political climate. The third part of the book really left an impression. While it was a bit of a depressing read, I’m glad I read it. Even the weird appendix at the end.
