Bonbon noir
I finished Bonbon noir by Gilles Alliaume. It was a quick and easy read. For me, it’s the kind of book that one can easily read through an evening, and that requires little cognitive effort. There were a few things that annoyed me, though. First, there were quite a few spelling mistakes (it starts on the very first page). Then there were some English loanwords that seemed misplaced. Finally, the front cover looks suspiciously like AI. I was looking front to back for any mention of an illustrator, but there were none… The book just met the threshold of “OK” and, thankfully, it was only about 120 pages thick.
