I finally finished the fifth installment in the The Long Earth series. The Long Cosmos, written by Sir Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxter. While it was again an enjoyable read and I couldn’t wait to get to the end, it was my least favorite book in the series. There were a couple of things that felt off, such as the pacing and certain events being underexplained (which was not the case in the third and fourth books). It was as if the authors tried to cram a lot of information into a book of equal thickness and thus had to prune. One or two newly introduced characters also felt underexplored. But I was content with the closure the books provided
