I was asked to read Ce monstre… qui m’a dévoré by Federico Ariu, and I was not disappointed. It is a compelling autobiographic retelling of the author’s experience with a narcissistic and abusive boyfriend and drugs. The book was written in a very accessible way, which, in a weird way, made the text more intimate and personal.
